*** FFL processing through our books usually takes 1-2 business days before we will give you a call to come into the shop to fill out your transfer paperwork. If you haven't recieved a call from us, your gun is not available for pick-up. Please wait for our call to move forward with the transfer ***
Transfer Process:
When you purchase a firearm from an FFL dealer, you will need to have the firearm transferred to you.
If you are not an FFL holder (i.e. you don’t have your own FFL), then you, as the buyer, will need to go to the FFL dealer’s licensed premises to fill out an ATF Form 4473 (and other required paperwork in some states) and satisfy the background check requirements (typically a NICS background check). We require Government License/ID or if you have it, your Concealed Carry License in order to move forward with the check through ATF.
Once we call your firearm in, we should recieve a 'Proceed' and can get your payment for the transfer, then you are good to go taking your firearm home!
On the off chance you are deemed 'Delayed' , the process is paused until ATF calls us back with a 'Proceed'. this could take anywhere from a few hours to a few days if not weeks. We will call you as soon as we have recieved your 'Proceed' and will carry on with the process as usual.
